Green Lake is a 30 minute drive on paved highway from Meadow Lake. This is a beautiful part of the province and so tourism has become the main industry for the people of Green Lake. There are a few farms nearby.

St. Pascal School offers the students of Green Lake a well-rounded educational program in a modern facility. The school has a large gym, an industrial arts shop, home economics lab, library, computer and science labs and many large classrooms. Rental teacherages are provided for those who request them.
