Minahik Waskahigan School in Pinehouse Lake, Saskatchewan is a K-12 school with an enrolment of approximately 397 students. There is a professional staff complement of 30 supported by paraprofessional and special education support staff.

This is a full-time, temporary position to teach Cree language to grades 1-10. This position will commence as soon as possible and end June 30, 2012.The successful candidate must be eligible for Saskatchewan Professional A or Provisional Professional A teaching certification.

Salary is according to the provincial grid plus a benefits package that includes subsidized, furnished housing and a northern living allowance. Moving assistance may also be available.

This position provides administrative and secretarial duties to the Children’s Services department. The ideal candidate will possess a Grade 12 education, completion of a secretarial training course and 2-3 years related experience. The successful employee must have excellent interpersonal skills; be able to work without supervision; be able to maintain confidentiality; possess accurate data entry skills; and be able to manage multiple tasks efficiently and accurately. Experience with Microsoft Office is essential.

Position to start February 6, 2012 and end February 1, 2013. Salary will commensurate with experience and qualifications. Includes an excellent benefits package.

Lakeview School is a Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 8 School, located in Cole Bay, Saskatchewan. The school has an enrolment of approximately 46. There is a professional staff complement of 3.5 supported by a para-professional support staff.

This position, as a special services tutor, is for the remainder of the 2012 School Year from approximately March 1 , 2012 to June 30, 2012 (based on funding)

Qualifications:
The successful applicant must have a positive student-centered attitude, the ability to meet ALL time-related job requirements a minimum of five (5) days weekly, four (4) hours daily, be well-organized, have the ability to relate well to both students and adults, and have the flexibility to meet a variety of requirements, including maintaining records and assisting students in and outside of the classroom. The ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred. This position may require occasional travel outside the community. Completion of Grade 12 and experience working with students with special needs is highly desirable.
